Q: Will my cat be wary of a new automatic litter tray?
A: We've designed the Petbuds Smart Litter Tray with an ultra-quiet motor, so it operates discreetly and won't give your cat a fright. To help them adjust, we suggest placing the new tray near their old one for a few days before turning it on. You can also add a scoop of their used litter to the new unit; the familiar scent helps them recognise it as their own. Most cats are naturally curious and take to it very quickly once they realise it's their new, permanently clean toilet.
Q: Is the unit difficult to clean, and how often?
A: It's designed to be incredibly low-maintenance. For a single cat, you can go up to 14 days before needing to do a thing. Simply pull out the waste drawer and swap the bag when the app notifies you it's full — a task that takes less than a minute. As for a deep clean, the unit only needs a proper wash of the main drum roughly once a year. It completely frees you from the daily chore of scooping.
Q: What type of cat litter should I use?
A: Our smart litter tray is compatible with the vast majority of clumping cat litters. To get the absolute best performance and ensure flawless scooping, we highly recommend using it with our Petbuds Premium Clumping Litter. However, most other high-quality clumping litters, whether clay, tofu, or mixed, will also work perfectly. (Please note: non-clumping, paper or crystal litters aren't recommended as they don't work with the automatic sifting system).

A: Your cat's safety is paramount. The litter tray is fitted with multiple gravity and infrared sensors that immediately detect when your cat is nearby or steps inside, and will instantly pause any rotation. 2. Return and Refund Policy
Change of Mind Returns:
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind about a purchase. We are happy to accept returns for a change of mind, provided the following conditions are met:

- Items must be unopened, in their original sealed packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition. All original tags, labels, accessories, and instruction manuals must be intact.
Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items:
If you receive an item that is damaged in transit, faulty, or not what you ordered, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receipt.
- Please provide your order number and photographic evidence of the issue so we can resolve it for you promptly.
- We will arrange for a replacement, exchange, or a full refund (including any applicable original shipping costs) at our discretion, once the issue is verified.
